General information for .aero domain
The international top level domain .aero was specially created for the aeronautical community.
Members of the aeronautical community have to provide some sort of proof of links to aviation.
Beside pilots, airports, airlines and manufacturers of airplanes also other members and associates of the aviation industry like e.g. aviation authorities, aviation medical examiners, suppliers and distributors of aviation products and services, aircraft brokers and aviation clubs.
Rules and regulations for .aero domain
The top level domain .aero is reserved for members of the aviation community.
Besides companies, organizations, associations, government agencies and individuals connected to aviation and related industries also flight attendants, aviation medical examiners and aircraft brokers are deemed members of the aviation community and thus eligible for a .aero domain.
Eligibility is checked through the Community Membership ID.
If you do not yet have your Community Membership ID we will gladly apply for this id within the registration procedure.
Currently two-letter .aero domains are reserved for airlines according to the IATA airline designators,
while three-letter .aero domains are reserved for airports, according to the IATA airport codes.

Prerequisite for use is a common personal computer including internet access, up-to-date web browser and state-of-the art security software (not included in price).
